Entrance Description: The arena becomes engulfed in darkness as the lights dim to almost nothingness. The darkness is soon cast out as gold lighting fills the arena and covers the crowd. Shoot the Arrows by Adema blasts over the P.A. system, covering the conversations of the fans. Joe Cleasy: Coming to the ring, from Dallas, Texas, weighing two hundred pounds, Kevin Hurts! Been greeted with a smile, In my back twists the knife, So quick to flip the switch, Never know quite what hit, Behind lines you know, True colors always show, Forget that you exist, The hand that feeds cut off at the wrist. Hate spreads like infection, Two faces yet you see one. Hey, shoot the arrows, As I turn and go, Know one day when most of us are gone, Shoot the arrows, Holding on to what you feel is true, And it's killing you. The curtain is pushed to the side as Kevin Hurts strolls out onto the stage. Dressed in his gear of black shorts down to the knees with gold writing Truth running down one side and Hurts down the other, black boots, elbow and knee pads and a Kevin Hurts shirt straight off the souvenir stand, he looks around the arena. He straightens his elbow pads as he starts down the ramp towards the ring. Fed up for so long, I've let go, Watch you hang on, When did lost trust begin, As soon as I decide to let you in, This took a part of me, That will never return you see, I've grown cold and hollow, The hurt that's caused I'll never let it show. Total lack of devotion, In you I have no faith. Hey, shoot the arrows, As I turn and go, Know one day when most of us are gone, Shoot the arrows, Holding on to what you feel is true, And it's killing you. He walks down the ramp towards the ring, rotating his arms to loosen them up as well as slapping hands with a few fans on either side. He hops up onto the apron; landing on one knee, draping the other off the side, and grabbing hold of the middle rope. He pulls himself up fully on the apron, swinging one leg into the ring through the middle and top rope. He looks out at the crowd again before swinging his body through and fully entering the ring. There's no way that you ever could have known, I would stoop so low, Don't tell me you wouldn't do the same thing, And I know all the things you play, Think hard 'cause now it starts to eat you, There's nothing else to do, WHAT'S DONE IS DONE, You hold on to what you feel is true, And now it's killing you. Know one day when most of us are gone, Shoot the arrows, Holding on to what you feel is true, And it's killing you, Hey, shoot the arrows, As I turn and go He climbs up to the second turnbuckle and poses for the fans, holding his arms to either side of him. Kevin hops down and begins to circle the ring a bit as he removes his shirt, spinning it around his hand to form a ball, and tosses it out to the crowd. He begins rotating his arms to loosen up for his match.
